“I drew everywhere: before and after school, during each break, and at home; so that I could create another masterpiece. I adored picturesque views and animals, so I also spent quite some time outside, getting inspired,” Rimma Pastyr started her story.

Rimma’s mother is a jewelry maker. Obviously, a creativity gene runs in her family. The Ukrainian girl started painting when she was only 3 years old. What did she pain? She laughed, “A huge sun on the wall of the room, which is now still under the wallpaper.”

Rimma Pastyr – The art teacher

When it came to choosing a degree at the university, Rimma had no doubts that she would be an art teacher. After getting her master’s degree, she was pleasantly offered a job there – teaching painting to new students.

Her favorite painter is Salvador Dali, “because he had no limits in creativity and was super confident about what he was doing.” His The Persistence of Memory is her favorite. “It shows that everything is about time. We have limited time, which was given to us as a gift.”

Discussing art, Rimma Partyr said, “Art is not just about getting a perfect result. It’s a process. It’s about meditating and projecting a part of your soul into the world.” For her, art is a perfect way to feel balanced and emotionally complete.

Fashion that is transparent but not naked

Rimma Pastyr soon realized she had to create her own fashion business. The 24-years-old created resort wear, especially swimming suits, being inspired by the sea and sun. She recalled, “My first clients were only my friends, and everything was going pretty well.” She then added more beach clothing to her collection, “When I was at the beach bar, I felt a bit naked. This is how I created a mesh clothing line with animal prints called In Transparent.” The artist described, “All the clothes are transparent. They are actually made for confident Yang girls, who spend their holiday on beaches and at techno parties.”

Rimma proudly described her designs, “My buyers love the transparent outfits that cover the whole body. It doesn’t make you feel that you don’t wear enough clothes, at the same time you still can show off the beautiful parts of your body. My designs can also be worn as an outer layer of the daily dress, or just on top of one’s lingerie.”

A fan of Y2K style

Like other girls of her age, Rimma likes casual and sporty styles. Jeans, sneakers, and white t-shirts are her favorites. “That’s kind of my uniform for a day. It always looks cool. You don’t need much time in the morning to choose what to wear,” she explains. For the evening, she chooses something more romantic such as a beautiful dress. That’s also the time for a designer’s bag.

At the age of 24, the future is bright for Rimma. She is making efforts every day to reach her goals. “If you really want something, just go and take it. Luck doesn’t come by sitting at home,” she said.
