A Night to Remember with the Consular Club Ho Chi Minh City

A glittering night of captivating performances, delectable cuisine and the company of remarkable individuals will take place on Saturday 30 September, when the Consular Club HCMC hosts it’s Fundraising Dinner at the Intercontinental Saigon Grand Ballroom.

The Consular Club HCMC is well known for the incredibly popular Bazaar it holds each year. However in 2020 due to Covid disruptions, the Club held its inaugural Fundraising Dinner which was a resounding success, raising over $70,000 USD for the recipient charities.

Milena Padula, President of the Consular Club HCMC.

This year’s Fundraising Dinner is shaping up to be a fantastic event with all 380 tickets sold to an international array of people from the diplomatic and business communities of HCMC.

“The Consular Club HCMC Fundraising Dinner is an incredibly meaningful event to organize and be part of,” says Consular Club President, Milena Padula. “As well as raising money for three incredible charities, the event connects the Vietnamese, business and consular communities and unites them in contributing towards a great cause.”

The money raised from this year’s Fundraising Dinner will go to three impactful southern Vietnamese charities –Planète Enfants and Dévelopment Vietnam and their women’s shelter for victims of violence; VietHarvest which rescues quality surplus food and redistributes it to underserved communities; and the Brighter Path Girl’s Club of VinaCapital Foundation which empowers girls through healthcare and education programs.

As well as entertaining cultural performances, the black-tie event will feature an exciting live auction with a number of beautiful art works, holiday experiences and fashion pieces up for grabs alongside the money-can’t-buy experience of a dinner cooked by the Consul-General’s of Italy, Germany and The Netherlands and hosted at the beautiful Italian Residence.

The Consular Club HCMC would like to thank the generous support of the following businesses and organizations for making this event possible:
