Born and raised in Uzbekistan, Vialina Lemann discovered her passion for fashion at an early age. Years later, she stepped onto the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, before moving with assured grace through Paris Fashion Week. Recently, she appeared in Phan Huy’s show during Paris Couture Fashion Week, which she described as “a truly unique experience”.

For Lemann, the runway has never been merely a stage for appearance. “For me, this is a transition from a model as an ‘object’ to a model as a ‘voice’”, she reflects. “I see myself as an ambassador for mindfulness in this industry”.
That quiet conviction, born from both athletic discipline and cultural awareness, defines her approach, “My role is to prove that a modern woman can combine gentleness and iron athletic discipline, using the podium as a platform for broadcasting values”. Her global trajectory has also refined her perspective on identity. “Being born in Uzbekistan and working in the fashion capitals of the world gave me a panoramic vision”, she says. “I realized that true beauty is a universal language”.

If her ascent appears effortless, Vialina Lemann is quick to acknowledge the unseen negotiations behind it. The fashion industry, she notes, still carries its share of inherited assumptions. “The biggest challenge is stereotypes. It’s hard for many to believe that a master of sports with a tough personality stands behind a model appearance”.
Rather than resist quietly, she has turned these moments into purpose. “Each time I overcame bias, I strengthened my mission: to help other women gain confidence that their professionalism and intelligence are always more important than external standards”.

This sense of responsibility extends naturally into community. For Lemann, progress is rarely solitary. “Sisterhood is the key to transforming the industry”, she says, recalling her collaboration with Maye Musk as a formative moment. “She passes on the experience to me, and I to the next generation”. Recognition, too, becomes an opportunity for dialogue. Receiving the Tao Award in Italy, she explains, offered a space where “my colleagues and I join forces to create a supportive environment”.

On the runway, her philosophy translates into gesture. Presenting Vietnamese designer Phan Huy’s couture in Paris Haute Couture Week, she says, “like being part of an important cultural dialogue between Asia and Europe”. Through her presence, she hoped to convey “a message about the harmony of power and grace”, noting that fragility itself can be a form of strength.

Reflecting on Paris Fashion Week, Vialina Lemann adds, “One of the highlights of the season was attending the Schiaparelli show on March 5th. Daniel Roseberry masterfully uses surrealism to emphasize female power. And although the role of an invited celebrity is honorable, I hope to try on these works of art in the future as a model on the catwalk”.

Today, Lemann’s goals go beyond just creating images; she wants to make a lasting impact. “I plan to develop initiatives that will help young models understand their rights and the legal aspects of contracts”, she explains. She sees her platform as “a place of honest dialogue about how to build an international career while preserving mental health and dignity”. In her view, social media also plays an important role. “It is a direct communication tool”, she says. “Social media allows us to tell our stories without intermediaries”.

Her advice to younger women is grounded yet aspirational, “Your uniqueness is your main asset. Don’t try to adapt to someone else’s format”. Ultimately, Vialina Lemann’s understanding of beauty has matured into something far more nuanced. “My journey has taught me that beauty is about energy and discipline”, she reflects. Looking forward, her hopes remain both practical and idealistic: “The future belongs to inclusivity, not in words, but in deeds”.
