Lianys Prieto, from fashion collector to founder of The Intendant.

‘The fashion world is constantly changing, but what should never change is the commitment to quality and authenticity.’ says Lia.

Launching her first collection, Lianys Prieto has introduced herself to the world of fashion.

The Intendant, her recently created brand, has not only managed to capture the attention of names such as Laura Pausini, but has also made its international appearance with a feature on Harper’s Bazaar.

Beyond her immediate achievements, what really defines Lia is her unwavering passion for fashion as an art of excellence and a dedication to quality that is reflected in every piece of her collection.

Skirt, gloves, earrings, and stockings are all Saint Laurent.

‘For me, fashion is not just about what you wear. It’s about how a piece can make you feel and how it can represent your identity. The Intendant is so much more than a brand, it’s a statement of what I value: quality, history and timelessness’.

Born with an insatiable taste for aesthetics and design, Lia began her journey in fashion not as a designer, but as a collector. From a very young age, she was drawn to classical treasures: high fashion pieces and luxury items from legendary brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Chanel and Givenchy. For her, each piece was a testimony to the history of fashion, a manifestation of the mastery of craftsmanship that inspired her.

‘My passion for fashion has always gone beyond garments,’ says Lia. ‘What really attracts me is the design, the quality of the materials, the story behind each piece and, above all, the message a garment can convey’. The attention to these details led her to an inevitable conclusion: to create something of her own.

So The Intendant was born, a brand that, although young, already positioned itself. Officially launched last April, The Intendant has been drawing the attention since. With its first collection, the brand has established itself with an audacious proposal that not only challenges conventions, but also celebrates the exceptional quality of its materials.

‘Every piece has to be perfect, from design to texture,’ explains Lia.

The brand does not follow the traditional rules of fashion, nor is it defined by aesthetics alone: The Intendant is a way of looking at fashion, a philosophy that reflects both the personal references of Lia and of her team.

Rather than focusing exclusively on seasonal collections, the brand is committed to timeless designs.

‘Luxury for me is not just a question of price. It is the result of a meticulous process, of the work behind each garment. That’s what makes a piece feel unique’, says Lia.

Although the brand has only been introduced a few months ago, its impact is already palpable. With an eye capturing first collection and thanks to the visibility it has gained through publications, The Intendant has won over celebrities such as Laura Pausini, who proudly wore pieces of the brand.

The future of The Intendant looks as bright as its debut. In order to expand its international market presence, Lia has big projects in mind, from new collections to collaborations with artists and brands that share her ethical and aesthetical vision.

‘The fashion world is constantly changing, but what should never change is the commitment to quality and authenticity.’ says Lia. ‘I’m excited for what’s to come. I don’t just want to create a clothing brand, I want to create a culture of conscious luxury, where design and ethics coexist.’

For Lia, The Intendant is not just a brand, but a statement of principles. A manifest that invites those who choose it to think beyond the superficial. In a world where trends come and go, Lia is determined about what she is looking for: creations that last, that will be appreciated not only for their appearance, but also for their significance.
