While the name Han Jingjing may still be unfamiliar to many, she has already displayed the promise of a rising star. In this issue, we are delighted to feature this newcomer in an interview which showcases her striking visual appeal to our audience.
Jingjing, a native of Haikou, attributes her fiery and unrestrained personality to her upbringing. Born in 2001, she embodies the spirit of a millennial, radiating a rebellious energy and fearlessly pursuing her dreams.
At the age of 4, Jingjing delved into piano lessons, inspired by her mother. She garnered success in various domestic piano competitions. While studying at a Music High School seemed a natural choice, Jingjing made a bold decision to study abroad and broaden her horizons. With outstanding academic achievements, she earned acceptance to Stanford University at the age of seventeen.
On October 17, 2023, without prior notice, Jingjing released her debut single “Monsoon (Ji Feng)”. Characterized by its freshness and healing melody, “Monsoon” narrates a tale of letting go of the past, breaking free from constraints, and pursuing freedom persistently.
Following the success of “Monsoon,” Jingjing released her latest single “Ignite the Blue” on December 21st. The song depicts the journey of a girl encountering a trapped dolphin in a dream, grappling with self-doubt, and ultimately finding redemption together. Through her music, Jingjing aims to emphasize the symbiotic relationship between humans and animals.
Jingjing’s vibrant persona extends beyond her music career. She recently graced the Paris Fashion Week and continues to record new songs and shoot magazines in China. On set, she brings vitality and joy to all. Renowned hairstylist Liu Xueliang commented that Jingjing embodies the essence of a supermodel, exuding confidence in front of the camera.
In addition to her accomplishments, Jingjing’s goal for the year is to create a visually compelling album, blending music and fashion to captivate a youthful audience.
