Each of us is a constellation of identities, dreams, plans, talents, and potential. When all these facets of the self are in harmony, true fulfillment becomes possible. Day’sha Ramsey – a mother, model, actress, and psychotherapist beautifully balances her many roles, pursuing her own ambitions while helping women in her community believe they are capable of more.

From the very start, Day’sha Ramsey knew exactly what she wanted. By 18, she was already studying at John Casablancas, taking acting classes, and making her first steps in the modeling industry, working with renowned brands. At the same time, she was studying psychology in college. After winning in the Top Model category at the National American Miss Pageant, she chose to remain active on the local scene, focusing on her dual career as a model and psychotherapist, blending creativity with bold goals, the closest of which is competing for the Miss USA crown.

“While preparing for Miss MA USA, winning isn’t my top priority,” Day’sha shares. “What matters most is representing my state and embodying the women who are multifaceted, who contribute to the growth and progress of their community, and to shine light on women who might be underrepresented and recognized in their communities.”

Her determination is fueled by her love for fashion and her passion for collaborating with creative minds. Through such partnerships, she not only brings unique concepts to life but also discovers new dimensions of her own talent.

“As a model and commercial actress, I feel most authentic when I’m in front of the camera -posing, flowing, and expressing myself. I love when I can convey my essence in a shot, capturing moments that I can look back on with joy. I cherish the memories of creating these images alongside the amazing people who surround me.”

Day’sha often chooses to work with local videographers and photographers, intentionally investing in her community’s growth. Her portfolio features numerous campaigns for brands like Bloomingdale’s, Jus10H, Onewithswim, DaniSimoneCouture, among others. Day’sha’s recent photoshoot for Harper’s BAZAAR Vietnam became another dazzling highlight in her modeling journey: an opulent yacht drifting along the river, Manhattan’s skyline shimmering as a living stage set, and refined creations from AvA, the fashion brand founded by Ala von Auersperg. Together, they shaped a narrative of timeless elegance and modern glamour, captured flawlessly in every frame. Collaborations like this highlight what truly matters for Day’sha, for whom a designer’s values are a vital part of building her own image.

“When choosing pieces for my wardrobe, I care most about whether the designer holds strong personal values that are clearly reflected in their work. I love clothing that is high-quality, long-lasting, simple yet unique and stylish.”

Day’sha also has her own set of values she communicates to the world. As a psychotherapist, she works on building a strong and creative self, one capable of thriving in various aspects of family and social life, while maintaining emotional balance and the ability to feel and enjoy life.

In today’s world, the image of a strong woman is often clouded by stereotypes of excessive control and emotional detachment. Day’sha challenges these myths, showing by example that strong women can evolve through life’s stages while staying open to feelings, connection, and love. She believes ambition, when pursued for one’s own satisfaction rather than for the approval of others, is healthy and inherently creative, because it fuels personal growth and allows you to do what you truly love.
Her confidence in her choices, reinforced by faith and the desire to inspire other women, is her anchor on the path of personal and professional growth:

“As I continue to grow and evolve, I’m rediscovering where my true ‘anchor’ lies. I feel most certain of who I am when I’m close to and connected with God. One of my favorite verses from Scripture that inspires me is: ‘I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you’ (Psalm 32:8).”

Today, Day’sha Ramsey walks that path, expressing herself across diverse creative platforms: from streaming services and online ads on Prime Video, Tubi, Instagram, and Facebook, to vocal training; from acting projects like the series Divided Loyalty to fashion runways; from preparing for Miss USA to gracing magazine covers and working with fashion brands. Her credits span the CFDA’s Runway 360 (Council of Fashion Designers) and Lookbook Paris. She has also appeared on the cover of Photohouse Magazine. Her portfolio also includes The Source, Selin Magazine, and her recent AvA photoshoot, which perfectly combined her strong character with designer Ala von Auersperg’s exquisite natural prints.

“Fashion has always been an important part of my journey. Beyond trends and outward beauty, it holds a much deeper meaning. For me, fashion shapes identity in the eyes of the viewer – it tells a story, allows a person to show who they are and what they value, and includes the freedom to care or not to care about what others think.”

Through fashion, Day’sha Ramsey embraces the freedom to be multifaceted while remaining true to herself. She channels her creative energy into various aspects of life, showing women in her community and beyond how important it is to pursue what brings genuine joy and feelings of fulfillment and purpose.

Freedom in diversity of expression. Strength in the courage to act. Joy in achievements that prove your efforts bear abundant fruit. This is Day’sha Ramsey’s blueprint for balance – one that will inspire anyone seeking their place in the worlds of creativity and fashion.
